The NTCU Bilingual Education Research Center was established by the Department of English at the National Taichung University of Education in December 2018. The center aims to conduct whole English language teaching research, develop relevant English teaching methodologies and techniques, and offer Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) lesson planning at the primary-school level. We collaborate closely with the NTCU Teacher Preparation Program to design and develop a whole English teaching curriculum along with its core courses and implementation of practicum and evaluation. Following the Ministry of Education's policy and guidelines, our center focuses on "Mathematics, Science, and Arts and Humanities." We are honored to have NTCU faulty in multiple disciplines to join us on this project. Our goal is to provide unique discipline language analysis, design teaching materials, and expand lesson activities for future reference.
